The Liberal Socialist Party Candidates

Abena B. made her name and her party’s name clear contenders for the Presidential seat. She announced, “I feel I am the right and only true nominee for this party, because  no one, besides myself  truly understands the issues of a lackluster educational system, less than appreciable security system and last but not the least a country so divided it makes it easy for our enemies to hurt our loved ones both local and abroad. I need your votes to win not because of any personal gain or stature, but together bring forth a better educational and security systems and community activities which will see our great nation’s prestigious name return to its rightful place atop the list of countries in all aspects.

Vialini M. is running for current and future Americans asserting, “I am a young Latina who understand the struggle we as immigrants have to go through to reach the “American Dream”. My people needs my help, and today I need theirs. To be able to start a change, we must come together, and support me in becoming the representative of the Liberal Socialist Party, and later on the president of the US. The United States of America has an urgency for change, and the time is NOW… I believe that YOU are the most important part of this election and it is because of YOU that I want to do my best to bring you the most benefits.”

Alexis C. is hoping to represent the LSP’s mission to make education more affordable. “I come from a place similar to many of you.  I was not born into money, as some would say.  I am the granddaughter of immigrants and the daughter of two hard working parents.  Parents that never got an opportunity to attend college because its prices were too high and they needed to help support their families.  Parents who bust their butts working two jobs each to afford to put my brother and I through Catholic school. CUNY was the only option for me.  With private college tuition too high and extremely low financial aid rates, this was the best and most affordable choice.  As president, I will work toward lowering college tuition, lowering interest rates for student loans and applying more money to financial aid funds.”

Philomina G. also talks of the importance of immigrant policies in her own life and in the life of Americans. She details, “I am a daughter of an Asian immigrant family, who came to this nation hoping for a better life, just like many of you out there. My father was a cook, and was always working overseas. My mother was a housewife living in a small village called Hashnabad, and taking care of my older brother. When they had the opportunity to come to this country, their lives changed. And here I am; A human rights lawyer, a politician, and a woman hoping to become the next president. This is a story of an American Dream. A story that can only be possible in this nation. I should be the Liberal Socialist Party’s nominee because I will become your voice, and together we will change America.”

Jennifer S. is interested in changing the system for the youth and for immigrants by maintaining a relationship with the community. “Not only am I a politician but I take the time to go and speck to my community to get a better understanding of what we as a country need to do to improve in our cities and states for a better future. If elected President, I will make sure that our education system allows for more money to go towards funding programs to let our children go to college without being in debt in their future specific and concise. I will ensure that if students need to take out a loan they have low interest rates so that once out of college they will be able to repay it back. To add on, I will work with congress to make a reform about Immigration, where individuals who seek refuge and legal documentation be evaluated through a background check to verify if they were not involved in any criminal activity.”
